In 2015, ADVEO Italy confirmed its leadership in the office supplies market in Italy. In a very fragmented market, ADVEO has been the only company capable of offering a ‘one stop shop’ solution for its customers across the country. ADVEO focuses its activity on the customer segment known as Office Supplies suppliers, thanks to a business model based on four central pillars: logistics, extensive and updated portfolio of products, personalised marketing and full technological integration with clients.
Growth in new categories
ADVEO Italy has gained market quota in all categories (except for Ink & Toner, in line with market trends). There has been significant two-figure growth in traditional categories compared to an essentially flat market trend. Also significant is the growth of new Facility Management categories, through which ADVEO provides its clients with a different way of attracting new clients and increasing profits.
The best partner for Online Dealers
There has been significant growth in the number of clients that purchase exclusively through dealers’ websites, that is, those who use e-commerce as their only sales channel. For this reason, the range of products has been extended and the display of contents has improved (images, descriptions, technical specifications), allowing these dealers to grow and improve their sales compared to their main competitors, and furthermore, to contain their marketing and advertising costs.
Strengthening of our agreement with Buffetti
During 2015 ADVEO Italy has strengthened its alliance with its most important client: Gruppo Buffetti. Strong commercial programmes have been set in motion for Buffetti franchisees with specific promotions and services. Thanks to these programmes, Buffetti confirms its trust in ADVEO as its leading partner, using its services to sell products and using its dealer brand strategy.
Back to School campaign
Great strides have been made in the Back to School campaign in 2015. Following many years focused on B2B, ADVEO Italy is once again one of the main players in the Back to School campaigns. A wider range of products, together with the best catalogue available on the market has helped change the order of the traditional players, who are not capable of fully satisfying the needs of stationers across the country.
Added value services
As part of its value added services, ADVEO offers its clients a series of tools for developing their business. These services are giving excellent results, and this has been made evident with the new version of the ‘MepaTool’, an electronic catalogue capable of answering the needs of the public sector, which represents one fourth of the office products market.
