ADVEO emerges from the strategic transformation of Grupo Unipapel. The company was formed in 1976 after the merge of the companies Papyrus, Segundo Moreno and Vascongada de Sobres y Bolsas.
After its début in the stock market in 1986, Unipapel bought Adimpo (wholesaler of computer and consumer goods products) in 2009 and the continental European division of Spicers (wholesaler of office and school materials) in 2011, becoming the leading company in the European market in office equipment, school material and stationery supplies. In July of 2012 Grupo Unipapel changes its corporate name to ADVEO Group International, following its strategy to unify all businesses under one company with one name and one corporate mission.
